Cheshire Wedding Videographer

Wedding videography by MoviArt Films

Having been an established Cheshire wedding videographer for over 10 years I've been lucky enough to film at the most beautiful venues this area has to offer. From Castles and stately homes to ultra modern purpose built boutique reception halls, the variety of locations for a wedding videographer is unlimited and Cheshire undoubtedly has some of the most beautiful wedding venues in the UK.

MoviArt Films regularly films at some of the most prestigious Cheshire wedding venues from the imposing Peckforton Castle to the rolling landscaped gardens of Colshaw Hall, and Merrydale Manor. One of the more recent additions to the areas country house weddings is the beautiful Dorfold Hall which was the setting for the Cheshire wedding video of Laura and James below.

Cheshire Wedding Videographer

We have been an established Cheshire wedding videographer for over 10 years. Please see below for a little more information about some of our favourite Cheshire wedding venues.

Peckforton Castle, despite it's ancient appearance was actually built in the 19th century as a family home. It regularly hosts the weddings of celebrities and pop stars with even Hollywood royalty travelling over to the UK to marry in a Cheshire castle.
For a beautiful country estate a Colshaw Hall wedding cant be improved upon. Exclusively yours with a toastmaster on hand, an ornamental lake, fountain and copious grounds make this one of the most picturesque Cheshire wedding venues.
Sister venue to the Colshaw Hall is Merrydale Manor, also set in acres of private countryside with a sunning renovation combining the traditional and modern in a unique way. The family owned wedding venue is perfectly run as can be expected from the family that brought us Colshaw Hall with a signature rustic ceremony building and a jaw dropping reception suite for up to 200 guests.
A Dorfold Hall wedding video is something we always look forward to. This 400 years old country house is stunning in every way. From the tree lined drive to the 800 acres of estate Dorfold Hall presents one of the finest examples of a Jacobean stately home in Cheshire with the advantage of a wonderfully talented team of wedding planners and catering staff. A real jewel in the county's crown.

How to choose a Cheshire wedding photographer

Having compatable people working together is invaluable for creating the perfect wedding video and photographs

Being a Cheshire Wedding Videographer means working with some of the best wedding professionals in the North West of England if not the whole of the UK.
If you are searching for the best Cheshire wedding photographers we have no hesitation in recommending: Steven Rooney ,David Stubbs and Nick English.

All the above professionals work in a very similar documentary style to me and do not interrupt the flow of the day or stage any photographs. Having a Cheshire wedding photographer to work alongside who approaches the day this way is essential to capture your wedding video as naturally as possible.

All my recommendations above have also worked extensively at the same Cheshire wedding venues as MoviArt Films so are comfortable with what is needed in regard to getting the best from each individual location.

Working with like-minded photographers is one of the greatest pleasures of wedding filming, it also helps being a photographer myself (non wedding -I believe you can only do one thing to the best of your abilitys at one time).
If you book an established photographer the chances are I will have worked with them before. My filming is completely natural with no staged shots or interruptions and I always work closely with other suppliers so even if we have never worked together there shouldn’t be any issues at all.
However I do suggest booking a photographer that shoots in the same reportage and natural style (I’m happy to provide examples ). If a photographer is interrupting the natural moments of the day unfortunately I won’t be able to provide the style of work you are booking me for so this is an important consideration.

Each wedding is different and videography requirements can vary greatly from couple to couple. We’ve covered weddings requiring a full weeks filming to simple civil ceremony’s with a reception for 15 people so before we can provide a suitable quotation to receive the best for your investment we do need to have a little bit of information about your own day.
Our wedding video pricing system is à la carte and a much simpler and cost effective system than all-in-one packages. It means you can choose a film length that suits how simple or involved your wedding day will be and your budget with plenty of additional options to cover all your requirements.

Or as most people say "I don’t want a camera in my face all day!"
My camera is probably smaller than your photographers; it doesn’t make a noise and doesn’t have a big light or fluffy mic on top :)

I use a fixed length prime lens which means I have to be a certain distance away from you otherwise all I would have would be a video of your eyeball, this is a conscious artistic decision to keep me in the background. Most guests assume i am just a second photographer.

I won’t be hanging your dress in a tree, I won’t be asking you to pretend to laugh with your bridesmaids, I capture your day with honesty, truth and integrity.
There is no need for intrusive or staged moments-real is beautiful.

Please visit our CONTACT US page and we will provide you with a full quotation. Please remember to add a mobile number so we can confirm we have replied; our pricing brochure can sometimes send our email into your junk mail folder (your number will not be used for any other purpose.)
A £500 payment to reserve the date is required with your signed booking forms and the balance payment is required four weeks before the wedding date.
